2021.12.05 13:37 artofassociation Why do engines often evaluate completely winning endgame positions between +60 and +63? What's significant about the low 60's as an evaluation? Or is it just a placeholder when the computer can't quite find a forced mate?

Obviously, this is tv, so not meant to be realistic, but still... If it was the Ontario wilderness, they would have been found in 19 days, not 19 months. Plus, the mountains scenery doesn't even exist in Ontario.

Is it possible to view/edit the routines someone has created in THEIR Alexa app on their own phone for the devices in the home? Eg; The other half has created routines to switch on lights at a certain time. She did this on her phone, using her Alexa app. I would like to be able to view and edit these on my phone.

2021.12.05 13:37 jamesz84 Final episode questions [SPOILERS]
I am on my second re-watch of the final episode. I am watching it in the United Kingdom/Great Britain. I am watching it on a local streaming service for the second time, and I have also watched it on the studio-official DVD boxed set, albeit the one that was bought in the UK.
One of the reasons I am re-watching it is because I thought I had missed a scene (I had a good few beers last time I watched it). I'd been reading this webpage:-
This described a scene as follows: -
Late-night family meeting
After dinner with Matt and Julie, Eric finds Tami in the living room when she can’t sleep. She informs him that she’s going to turn down her dream job because it’s evident that she won’t win this fight. But that matter is put on hold when Julie enters and asks her parents to trust that she’s making the right decision with Matt. And when Tami says they do trust her, it’s all Eric can do to slightly nod at his daughter and not burst into a million tears. Sorry, did someone say tears?
17. Family dinner
When Julie tells her parents that they’re her inspiration when it comes to marriage, Tami has to step outside to gather herself. Outside the restaurant, Tami tells Eric through her tears that “it’s my turn, babe,” but he’s still not ready to have the conversation … yet. And if seeing those two at odds doesn’t do you in, I don’t know what will.
